POSTED TOURNEY RULES
Play by ALL TSSAA High School Rules.
ALL COACHES MUST SIGN THE WAIVER ON BACKSIDE OF SCORESHEET BEFORE GAME CAN BEGIN
Each team shall receive 3 full 60 second and 2-30 second timeouts per game.
Players can foul out.
Player or coach ejections shall result in a one game suspension or removal from the tournament at the discretion of the Tournament Director.
Games are 20 minute running clock halves. Clock will stop for all dead balls in the last minute of each half and all team called timeouts.
On a Timeout: the clock WILL NOT START until official play has begun.
On a free throw: the clock WILL NOT START after a timeout until the free
throw shooting is finished and ball IS BACK in play.
6th grade boys and up will play with a regulation boy’s basketball.
Boys grades 3rd through 5th will play with a regulation girl’s basketball.
Teams will have a maximum of 5 minute warm up time and a maximum of 5 minutes for halftime. Warm-up and Halftimes can be adjusted at the discretion of the tournament to maintain the POSTED tournament schedule.
Game lengths WILL NOT be adjusted for any reason except for a forfeiture by one team.
Grade verification documents are the responsibility of the head coach and must be produced in the event of an age question. Inability to do so will result in either player disqualification or team forfeiture of game(s).
